We're beginining to get busy working on our summer programme of fiestas and days out.  Looking forward to the International folklore parade in Alicante on 23rd June.  A colourful parade of dancers and musicians from around the world in one of the cities eagerly awaited dates.  We aim to arrive in the afternoon so that you can admire the fantastic giant sculpturs around the city before they will be burnt to the ground the following evening.  We decided not to do the burning as the city becomes extremely congested and you only get to see one of the statues set alight as they as burnt in quick succession and you usually end up quite wet!
