Benidorm

This is a place that has to be experienced at least once, only fifty years ago it was a tiny quiet fishing village and has grown to be one of the largest resorts in Spain.  Explore the narrow streets of the old town with some great tapas bars.  Walk up to the plaza de Sanmta ana a good place to stop for a refreshing drink before exploreing the "Balcon del Mediterraneo" for some stunning views of the whole town. Stroll along the beautiful promenade and do a spot of people watching, that's an eye-opener. 

Wednesday is market day where you can browse through hundreds of stalls and bag a bargain or two or just enjoy lunch and a drink with friends in one of the many restaurants along the front.
