International Folklore Parade

This is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the festival.  Hundreds of representatives from many countries such as Mexico, Russia, Venezuela, parade through the streets of Alicante accompanied by marching bands, floats and dancers  in beautiful traditional costumes.   They are accompanied by the Queens of the local towns such as Villena, Pinoso and Torrevieja.

We aim to arrive early so that you can also see the amazing sculptures of the Hogueras before they are set alight the following evening. 

10,000 chairs will line the route so you can watch this spectacular show in comfort.
